The 2011 North Pole Limited Christmas Train

On Friday, Dec 2nd, the Children’s Coalition joined the North Pole Christmas Train with Santa and his Elves at the beautifully decorated Campo train depot.

The Children's Coalition enjoyed a 90 minute excursion with cookies, hot chocolate, Christmas stories, and a magical visit to Santa’s Workshop aboard the VIP train car formally ridden by Pres. Roosevelt!.
More than 20 members of the Children's Coalition drove out to the Campo Depot where we were warmly greated by the Christmas Train Staff.  The train depot was beautifully decorated in Christmas lights which included a lounge and a visitor's center.

After we got our tickets, we boarded our exclusive VIP train car built in the '20s and used by the President of the United States.  The car included a kitchen, dining room, 3 bedrooms, bathrooms, and a beautiful lounge.  We even got to ride outside of the train on our private balcony on the way to the North Pole!

We were served hot chocolate, cookies, and more by Santa's elves!  Along the route to the North Pole, the elves told stories and everyone sang Christmas carols!

The highlight of the trip was a visit to the North Pole where Santa and Ms Claus boarded the train and visited with each and everyone of us!
