The California State Senate has declared the last Saturday in April as Children's Day and the last Week in April as Children's Week.  April is now Children's Day, May is Mother's Day, and June is Father's Day!

The San Diego Children's Coalition in partnership with Children's Day USA will reach out to Children's organizations throughout San Diego County to inform them of the event and to help promote those organizations who will participate.

Children's Day USA, located in Orange County, has been working on promoting a Children's Day throughout America and the San Diego Children's Coalition is their official organization in San Diego to promote the event.

 

The San Diego Children's Coalition has submitted the California Senate Resolution to the San Diego City Council for consideration in also declaring a Children's Day and Week in participation with the statewide efforts in California.
