The Mission of Kids Included Together (KIT) is to support recreational, child development, and youth development programs that include children with and without disabilities. KIT's goals are to enrich the lives of all who participate and to increase understanding and acceptance of disabilities as a natural part of life. KIT's vision is that all children are welcomed included and valued in recreational, child development and youth development programs in their communities. KIT currently serves 54 organizations representing 293 site locations in San Diego County.
Ongoing Activities & Events: Oct. 17th Over The Edge for KIT: 33 stories, thousands of lives, priceless experiences. The spectacular Manchester Grand Hyatt will be the location for this first of a kind event for San Diego, rappelling from the tallest waterfront building on the West Coast! Simply collect a minimum of $1,000 in pledges and you'll be granted the opportunity to rappel from the 33rd story of the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Your participation will help KIT raise the funding necessary for KIT to continue to work with San Diego based organizations so that they can positively impact the lives of kids with disabilities by including them into their existing programming.
